Download (11,1 MB)

Devaki sings the mantra Om Sat Chid Ananda, a Vedanta song, in a Saturday evening satsang at Yoga Vidya in Bad Meinberg, Germany.

Om Sat Chit Ananda Parabrahma is called Mula Mantra, the root mantra. In a certain Indian tradition it is considered the most important mantra. It is a mantra that is particularly popular in this particular guru lineage. But it is also a kirtan that can be repeated no matter which spiritual tradition you belong to.

Here is the text to sing along:

Om Sat Chit Ananda Parabrahma
Purushothama Paramatma
Sri Bhagavathi Sametha
Sri Bhagavathe Namaha

Hari Om Tat Sat
Hari Om Tat Sat
Hari Om Tat Sat
