"Tayatha Om Bekandze is considered the mantra of the Medicine Buddha. It is a short version of a longer Tibetan mantra and it is also slightly modified and stands for the healing of diseases. The meaning of this mantra in short form is: "May all living beings who are ill be quickly released from their illness. And may all the diseases of these beings never occur again.
